Rarely
does the south breed rap lyrcist in the form of a triple threat.
Whether punchlines, heart-felt,street anthems, or materialistic,
Young'N (Alonzo Housley) can bring it all to you. Born in a single
parent household, Young(as closest friends call him) using his fathers
absence as motivation in his lyrics. In middle school he linked
up with his partner-in-crime C-Hustle(Cartel Pellum) and started
a rap duo which made noise through the streets of Port Arthur, Texas.
Soon trying the solo route after his partner took time away from
music to play basketball, Young'N began to take music seriously.
Releasing a series of mixtapes out the trunk of his Grand Prix Young'N
started to develop a fan base. Using his experiences with his father
Young'N created the hit 'I Forgive U' as well as other hits like
Ridin', and 'Make Ya Waist Move.'' After I started creating a buzz,
I felt it was time to take it to another level,'' Young added. In
fall of 2000 he formed the independent label Young Profit Entertainment
Local artist like Duec Dott, Future, SB, Dolla Billz, and Chelsea
Hott were big names that were all developed under Young'N's leadership
and guidance. He soon chose Duec Dott and C-Hustle to began a rap
trio called 'Street Camp.'' Not too long after the young boss began
his journey to stardom he was introduced to producers Averexxx and
Beat Masta Wes. After taking notice of his grind ethics and intentions
to release his solo debut with no promotion, Averexx sought need
to continue working with Young'N . He later linked up with the independent
record label and film company Hoodkat Entertainment. He and his
longtime partner-n-crime released their first mixtape ' Broken Chain'
volume 1 in March 2007 which sold many CDs in big states. Months
later Young'N sought out to to create a new and improved label "Camp
Boi Entertainment" He is currently in college taking business
courses to improve his label into a dynasty. |
